One of the following: - A Washington Accord accredited (initial) engineering degree (listed - see Note 3) - A Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (NZQF Level 8) - A qualification at NZQF Level 7 or higher, with a letter from IPENZ certifying that the degree and any further learning meet the benchmark requirements towards Chartered Professional Engineer professional status in New Zealand - NZ registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer by the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand.

Electrical Engineering Technician belong to SKILL LEVEL 2：
Definition of Skill Level 2：
Occupations at Skill Level 2 have a level of skill commensurate with one of the following:
NZ Register Diploma or
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.

Minimum remuneration for SMC:$25/H or above
